Chevrolet Adds Shepherd

On January 30, 2009, it was announced that one of my favorite drivers, Morgan Shepherd, will change from Dodge to Chevy. This is to open ties between allies Kevin Harvick Incorperated, Stewart-Haas Racing, and Johnny Davis Motorsports. Shepherd, now 67, the oldest active full-time NASCAR driver, will start the 2009 NASCAR Nationwide Series Season in the top 30 in owners points, due to the #40 Chip Ganassi Racing Team, which was in the top 30, closed down.
This means the #89 Racing With Jesus Chevrolet will start the first five events.

Good Luck Morgan!
